Have you seen ads for Thrive Market but were unsure if it’s worth it? Were you curious if it was something you could really get your money’s worth from? Here is my review of Thrive Market so you get a better idea of what it is and if it would be helpful for your family.
My goal is to eat healthy and have healthy options for my family. However, I found that my local stores priced foods I was looking for at a high price. Some items I was unable to find altogether. When I first heard about Thrive Market, I tried the 30 day free trial and fell in love. Not only do I pay less ordering from Thrive Market, I also get free items if I spend over a certain amount on my order. Who doesn’t love free stuff?
So what exactly is Thrive Market?
Like Costco or other ware-house clubs, Thrive Market is membership based. For $59.95 a year (less than $5 a month), members have access to over 3,000 brands for a discounted price. What I really liked about Thrive Market is for every membership purchased, they donate one to a family in need. I am fortunate enough to live in a place with access to some organic and healthy products, but what about those who are not? Thrive Market’s goal is to make healthy food accessible to everyone.
Why I fell in Love
For starters, the bulk of the prices are cheaper than my local grocery store. I also love the convenience of online shopping. There are some products I buy on Thrive Market that I can not get locally. (Example: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Maxi Pads) Plus, the boxes, inserts, and receipts they use are made from recycled paper (and are recyclable, too).
Shipping is free on orders of $49 and it’s fast too. Plus the warehouse workers write little notes on the shipping receipt. Thrive Market also offers promotions or free products. Example: I ordered today and received 15% off. If you order your first package, you can get 25% off AND free shipping. You have 30 days to try it and if you don’t think you’ll use the membership, cancel. If you do pay for a membership and do not save at least $59.95 in one year, they’ll refund it back to you. It’s a win-win for you!
With Thrive Market, they send emails with offers a few times a week. Sometimes the offer includes free shipping, 15% off an order, etc. Often times they have a free product with a $59 purchase. What they offer varies, so I usually check to see what the free product is before putting in my order. Not only do you get free shipping at $49, for $10 more you can get free products! Check out what I received when I placed my last order!
